I used dry cake mix and other ingredients seems great
but do I ice it warm or cold???

I enjoy visiting your page every time I am on. It is a wonderful page. My question is this:
Can Ginger Ale be substituted for the 7- up in this cake?
Another question is. When giving a recipe it is helpful to mention whether the box cake mix directions should be used along with the other special added ingredients. Some recipe directions, say sprinkle, and other say pour. You sprinkle the powdered cake mix, and you pour the cake batter.
I made the pineapple cherry cake two weeks ago, it said sprinkle the cake mix over the fruit. It did not say make the cake according to box directions…So… It did not rise in the oven, and we ate it like a pudding.

I love your website Back Roads Living! When you post beautiful pictures of country living, I enjoy it very much, but you request us to go to your website. I love it, but I get lost on it between the recipe’s, the history stories, and many other things that are posted and I forget about my friends and family on Facebook. I can get lost for hours on your page. So if I just stop by once in a while is that O.K., I can’t not go to your website at all! It’s just too interesting! Love you lots!!
