She picks out a nesting box and pecks or cuckles at me when I walk by. She continues this behavior until she is given 8-10 eggs. Then she is happy. While on a hatch of eggs she won’t let my husband touch her without a ruckus, but lets me move her around to count eggs daily to make sure no other hens have made a deposit!
