I was a bit nervous about making a new recipe for an occasion and with more guests. No need to worry, this is an outstanding cake. As my husband and daughter in law both said, “this recipe is a keeper”. My son likes regular carrot cake for his birthdays and she’s decided this cake will be her choice for her birthdays. I just sent her the link so she can make it anytime! Thank you for this! Bakers chocolate, for the bar chocolate, apparently the only brand sold in our town, doesn’t say BITTERSWEET, but says SEMI-SWEET. This may be confusing for a new cook. BEST Chocolate Cake we’ve ever had!
