Many folks have to keep them confined somewhat and this seems to be the easiest way to allow them some freedom from the coops and houses without infringing on our neighbors! That sort of takes something away from the “free range chickens”. When i buy eggs that are suppose to be free range, makes me wonder if the chickens were in one of these cages. To me that is not free range! And yes I was raised on a farm and we always had chickens….
