Thanks for the compliment. We enjoy sharing our stories and recipes. I am still working on the site. As you can see we are new to this and still don’t have video installed but it is on the agenda!

The problem is, no one wishes to do a huge deal of reading and additionally not have something different to stimulate the mind. This is the internet, after all. Maybe if you added a video or two to emphasise your point. Ill stick around, FOR SURE. But, I dont know if others will.

Thank you Tammy, you are too kind. I enjoyed my childhood and I remember it fondly. We had lots of good times and as you said, our lips and faces stayed chapped in the winter but we would not have changed it if could I don’t think.

Thanks for sharing us with your friends.

You really ought to consider writing lots of short stories like these. You are good at it.
I remember playing all day at mama’s on days like this. There was a pile of us kids there. We ate breakfast at 5:00am, done chores, then off to play. We would come in with chapped lips, cheeks and completely starved for lunch. Then back out to play. We enjoyed those days in winter because we had a whole lot more chores to do in summer.
Once again, keep it up.
I will continue to share your stories.
Bless ya
Tammy

I know all the people you listed and grew up with most of them. We rent a space at Joy’s Home and More Store in Barbourville. We used to run it.
