Are there anymore of the drips jars available for purchase? I used to have one of these with matching salt and pepper shakers. It was my grandmother’s but it got broke so I would love to be able to replace it.

Oh My….. this matches a salt and pepper set given to me by my granny. I would love to have it to complete the set….. then I will ‘gift’ it to my oldest daughter who has a retro type kitchen……

I can’t help but think, if this grease jar brings back memories for you, you had a happy childhood. I don’t think Grandma had a lid on her grease jar, she used a small saucer. It wasn’t until after she was gone I found out that her bacon drippings were the secret ingredient to her famous Molasses Cookies. Now I can savor the cookies while thinking of spending weekends at Grandma’s and Grandpa’s house.

My Family and I are moving to NH in 2 weeks from CT, not by choice, its where my Hubby got a job, after losing his of 27 years and not finding one for 3 years. I would love to have this in my new Home to enjoy and bring back some memories of my Grandmothers when they would use something like this on their stoves. Thank God for FB to keep in touch with Family and Friends and places like this to keep me smiling. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year…..

I also grew up on left over grease. I use a mason jar in my fridge now but would love to have this beautiful keepsake container.

This jar is so adorable! I would be very proud to keep it next to my stove! I like to save bacon drippings for cooking and this would be perfect!!

I keep a can by my stove and collect the grease in there. Your drip jar would be much nicer.

We always save our bacon drippings. We use them for frying pork chops and our very lean grass fed beef burgers. We also use them to grease the pan for baked acorn squash.
