Come hell or high water you do what you shook on. Too bad people aren’t teaching that to their kids today.

HI Doris, Thank you for that wonderful comment. Yes, we too wish mankind was treated with equality. God is not a respecter of persons and neither should we be.

Oh, it may still be in certain instances, but not like it was back years ago. Thank you for sharing this story of gentler days and times and kinder people who lived back then. Wish it were still like that….and that all mankind were treated with equality as I know this is how God wants us to live.

Hi Arlin, It is the Gospel that will set us free. Without the Word of God we have no morals or ethics. We have traveled far from the truth here in the states and I am afraid if we do not bring revival back to these United States that we are in for a rude awakening. We long for a time that the God of creation would pour out His Spirit upon us again to make His Love, Power and Grace manifest in our lives.

~Blessings~

Unfortunately, we eventually had to contract lawyers to defend us because the new generation didn’t see it that way anymore. When the Gospel is no longer taken seriously, character breaks down and then chaos starts to set in. Anyone recognize where we are today in the US?

It is a true story and it shows the quality of the people then and how mch their word meant to them. Yes, the man might have changed his mind but the seller had to much pride in his word to ask him.

~Blessings~

Sometimes if you make a mistake, you can rectify the situation back to the way it was if the other person agrees and understands.
