They’re smaller than you’d expect & flimsy as all get-out. The wood started to warp two weeks after the first one was put up. I painted the second one to try to add longevity. That helped… some. Water enters through the nesting box roof where it’s hinged, a stray dog was able to knock out the bottom of the nesting box (we lost 1/2 of our flock that day), the doors stick due to cheap construction & warping, and the nesting boxes are sagging. Overall, they seem like a good deal because they are priced so much cheaper that any other pre-fab kit, but they’re a waste of money. I expected them to last 2-3 years, but barely got 6 months out of them. Now I wish I hadn’t procrastinated building from scratch on the front end. You can build bigger & better for the same price with less frustration.
