My mother used to make these a lot when I was younger. I would eat them as soon as they hit the plate. This sure brings back memories!

I am sorry to have left comment on the strawberry dessert. Do you have the recipe for fried cakes made from leftover oatmeal? My Mom made them and they were really good but I can’t seem to get them made right.

I sometimes throw in some leftover corn or sweetpeas in too. My kids used to love these and now so do my grandchildren.
