Hello Maihon,

After reading your post I have done more research on this problem. Most of my time was spent on preventing horse flys from folks who owned the live stock and not the neighbors. I have found a product and added it to my article above. It seems to be probably the most effective commercial trap made yet for large numbers of horse flies. I will include the link to it here also. Let me know if you try this and how it works out for you.

Here is the product link. > https://amzn.to/2vc6Ol2

Thank you.

Too late to stop them now.

How to p recent Horse Flies from breeding in my fields.? For years farmers have been mowing the fields then spraying manure with jet streams into them. I have stopped this procedure on my property since moving to the area. But the horse flies are so bad that they actually chase my family, friends, myself and pets back to the house (all the while attacking to bite). My research has lead me no-where on how to prevent this from happening again next year… Oh, and there is a large pond in the fields that I have put fish in to eat the larvae of mosquitos and any other water breeding insect. The mosquitos are not as bad as last year but the horse flies have tripled. HELP ME PLEASE..
