i remember playing with paper dolls as a child, my aunt bought me a package while staying with Grandparents. so much fun we had together. then grandma showed us how to cut clothes from catologs, not sure if I would remembe how now………but I do love those memories. …….thank you

I would love this to give to my mom she loves Shirley Temple, she always said that my sister had her curly hair!!!! Every year my bro/sister try to get my mom a movie (Shirley Temple) but the past 4 years we have not been able to get her one. I would love to make her happy!!!!

My name is Dolly Odom; Dolly, because I am one of identical triplet girls. I grew up in the 50’s playing paper dolls. I have a library collection of paper dolls books. (Hundreds of paper doll books). Dover has the best & largest inventory, I know this because I am a customer for years (at least 30 years); and more. I also grew up with Shirley Temple. Enjoy my paper doll books collection. I grew up playing with paper dolls. I still have my “Bunny Lou” paper doll, complete with all her wardrobe, which dates back to about 1958. I also had the McGuire Sisters paper dolls. Does anyone remember the Betsy McCall paper dolls in the McCalls magazine during the 60’s? Loved them!

I was born in 1967 and growing up I loved watching Shirley Temple. I always wanted to be just like her; however I was the shy timid child. I felt so sorry for my mom, because she always put me in dance and singing classes and I didn’t want to participate. God just made me that way, but I sure loved watching Shirley Temple. I now have an 11 year old daughter named Athena and she can be just as bubbly and outgoing as Shirley Temple. When she was born everyone always made comments about her chubby cheeks. It would be an honor to have one of her paper doll books.

Oh how I loved playing with my paper dolls. And Shirley Temple was always my favorite. I would watch her movies on our old black and white TV (since the movies weren’t in color at that time). Every Sunday afternoon I would watch her while the rest of the family watched football on the new color TV! I would love to win this for my granddaughter ..and me!!!
