Hi Vicki, I agree, bleach is a little harsh on some things. The Cornstarch make it a better soap scum remover and scrubber. 🙂

I’m looking forward to trying this! Can you please clarify the amounts though? I see Tablespoon in the recipe but Teaspoon in the directions. Any help would be appreciated. I hope this solves my soap scum issue that I just can’t get a handle on. Many thanks!

I use this, but haven’t added the cornstarch before. I might try the cornstarch. This is my “go to” cleaner for all my bathrooms. Of course, my husband thinks nothing cleans as good as bleach. I think it is way to harsh, not to mention that it ruins many items!
