Heated Base for Poultry Water Feeder

Heated Base for Poultry Water Feeder

A Heated Base for Poultry Water Feeder would sure have been nice in my younger days! I remember well the cold days of carrying water out to the chickens. Every morning we had to make sure the water was available to them. We would go out and get the watering pan or pans and bust the ice out of them and add fresh water. Then in the evening the same thing. On really cold days we did this a couple to three times a day. We didn’t have the fancy watering pans with these heaters and such. Just plain ole round pans! 🙂

Love this item!
No more lugging the frozen waterer inside to thaw it out…only to have it freeze right up again! Just plug the unit in, set the waterer on top and let it do its job. It’s as easy as that! Makes cold weather care much easier! Great product!

chicken waterer heater
Usually in the winter there may be a few days that I have to worry about the water freezing, but not this winter. I could count the days that I did not have to worry about it. The heater base kept the waterer open and not frozen. All that was needed was to plug it in. It withheld the harsh conditions and was a life saver. I highly recommend it to anyone that needs to worry about freezing water.

Best Heater
Love this heater! This was the first winter we had chix. We had a lot of freezing days and snow this winter and didn’t have to worry about my chix. They had water all winter long. Checked it the first couple of freezing nights and it was working fine. Didn’t need to worry the rest of the winter.

Very helpful product and Tractor Supply
The first one that I purchased was the Little Giant Electric Heater Base. It worked fine for 3 months and then stopped working. Tractor Supply was very kind and replaced it with the current model that they are carrying, the Farm Innovators Heater Base. I am grateful to them. They didn’t make the product but they stood behind the product that they sold. Thank you! The heater base is great. It keeps the chicken’s water from freezing.

No Problems
bought this heater a couple years ago and have only had the waterer freeze up a couple times. That was because the bottom of the waterer and top of heater were not free of debris. Keep everything clean and she works great. Love not having to thaw out a waterer!!

✔ Yes, I recommend this product.
