Single Nesting Box like this was something I do not remember in my grandmother’s hen house. I remember many times going out to my grandmother’s hen house or coop as they are commonly called these days and checking for eggs. We also visited our neighbors many times and we were there so much it was impossible to miss checking for eggs there. They had a huge hen house or coop! It was very long and narrow with nest running pretty much the whole length of the building. The whole front was surrounded by chicken wire and checked every couple of days for holes or digs.

The Little Giant® Single Nesting Box is made of high-density, impact-resistant polyethylene that will not rust, rot, or corrode. The plastic surface is easy to keep clean and does not get as cold as metal. Amply sized, hen-friendly design features an entrance perch and ventilation holes for fresh air. The box floor is lower than the entrance, which helps prevent loss of bedding. Sloped roof prevents roosting. Mounts securely on the wall with slide-type screw holes. Space-saving modular layout can be mounted vertically or side-by-side on 16 inch on-center studs.
