Horses have been around as long as anyone can remember. They have been used for many purposes.
Rising horses have been used to carry their masters for long distances and into battle as well. They were bred for that purpose and evolved over time to be the life source of many families, travelers, raiders, cowboys, etc.
Other horses were bred for farm work to plow, drag wood, haul produce and pull wagons! These were animals who made life for their owners so much easier and helped them transport farm goodsork
If you were raised on or near a farm I am sure you have seen many horses. Most of the modern shows in my youth featured horses from Gun Smoke to Mr Ed.
