Submitted by our friend Beth B. ~ Skillet Macaroni Dinner
I'm sure most people enjoy some sort of Mac and Cheese. This is a wonderful twist with a few added items right from the pantry.
With the exception of the meat, this can be made pretty much from pantry staples.
The dish is a very easy one to make and it does not take very long.
This can be the entire meal and you can have it on the table in approx. 1 hour or less.
Difficulty of meal prep: Easy
1 lb. ground beef
1 Tbsp. oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (15 oz.) can diced tomatoes (do not drain)
1 (15 oz.) can corn (do not drain)
1/2 cup uncooked macaroni
1/2 - 1 tsp. chili powder (depending on how hot you like it)
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Brown meat in oil.
Add onion, tomatoes, corn, and macaroni.
Cook for 30 minutes, or till macaroni is tender; stir occasionally.
Add chili powder and garlic salt; stir.
Place cheese on top and heat for 5 more minutes.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Once again, another wonderful dish from our YouTube Subscribers!
