When I think about vintage kitchen utensils the first thing that comes to mind is my grandmothers old wooden spoon, aluminum water dipper and a few other items she used around the kitchen.
She was always stirring early and had breakfast ready before I got out of bed! The food would be piping hot and the tastiest I have ever eaten. Her apron was worn from the time she got out of bed until she turned in for the night! I guess all in all, it was probably her most useful tool in the kitchen!
Kitchen scales, used for everything from eggs to meat to the kids projects! These were a really handy tool in the kitchen! They were made in many different styles and sizes and with the ability to weigh from a few ounces to several pounds! Did you have one in your kitchen as a child?
