SpringTime

Ah, sweet springtime. I think it has finally made it here to the Southeastern part of Kentucky. The weather is beautiful today and the sun is up and it is shirt sleeve weather outside. The gardens have been plowed and disk. Several have already been planted with the early plants such as Onions, etc.

We mowed the grass yesterday and I think that is our official Spring marker! Mowing, cleaning out flower beds and pruning some trees! The birds are chirping and scurrying around in the trees. I love this warm weather! The Dog Wood trees have their buds and the maple Trees in front of the house are budding with color!
Garden     We will be fixing and straightening all spring I am sure. I love the garden and look forward to working in it this summer! I look forward to the plants growing and taking on color as they mature into grown vegetables. Nothing beats fresh garden food. Go pick it, clean it and cook it! What flavor! No preservatives or artificial coloring or any of that other stuff that is on every label of stuff you buy at the stores!

Maple Tree I am so glad to see the warmer weather. it is a time for all the wonderful plants, flowers, trees, and all of God’s creation to come into bloom again! The birds are brighter, the Dogs and cats seem more energetic, the cattle look better, everything just seems nicer when the spring time gets here.

   Happy Spring everyone!

 ~Blessings~
