HOME MADE CHOCOLATE GRAVY RECIPE
This Home Made Chocolate gravy recipe is easy to make and really tasty. Enjoy with your Brides Biscuits!
Here at Back Roads Living we love pretty much anything made with chocolate! This home made chocolate gravy is no exception. We made a batch of Brides Biscuits and poured this home made chocolate gravy on top and it was lip smacking good!
I can still remember when my mother made these as we were small children and they were such a treat! We looked forward to all of her homemade goodies and this was no exception!

Ingredients for: Home Made Chocolate Gravy
- 4 tbsp unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 2 tbsp Self Rising Flour
- 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 1/2 Cups Whole Milk
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Directions for: Home Made Chocolate Gravy
- Whisk together your dry ingredients until mixed thoroughly
- Mix in milk whisking vigorously until blended well
- Heat over medium high heat until the mixture comes to a bubble (Light Boil)
- Reduce heat and stir continuously until it is the texture of gravy
- Remove from heat and stir in butter and Vanilla.
- Serve while warm.
This Brides Biscuits and Home Made Chocolate Gravy are both easy to make and a very tasty dessert! The Brides Biscuits are delicious with preserves, honey, butter, Etc!
