Apple Cobbler Recipe

This Apple Cobbler is a delicious way to round off a good dinner! Of course, I need Ice Cream with mine! My wife likes hers just like you see it. Me, I like all the add on’s, Ice Cream, Whipped Cream, etc! The more the merrier! I don’t have to wait until after dinner to eat this! 🙂

This is adapted from the other cobblers we have listed and is just so good. The ingredients in this make it a delicious dessert! Easy to make and easy to eat. Just the way we like em. 🙂




Ingredients for: Homemade Apple Cobbler

  • 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup butter at room temperature
  • 1 Cup self rising flour
  • 1 Cup milk
  • 1 Medium Golden delicious or Granny Smith Apple. (Your choice if you like a different one)
  • 1/4 – 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • Cinnamon added to taste.
  • 1 1/2 Cups Home Canned Apples or Applesauce.

Directions for: Homemade Apple Cobbler

  1. Preheat oven to 350*.
  2. In a 1 quart baking dish (I used a 2 quart dish) or 9 inch square pan, cream the sugar and butter until smooth.
  3. Mix in flour and milk and mix until smooth.
  4. Slice Apples very thin and add on top of mix.
  5. Add Applesauce or canned apples.
  6. Sprinkle with Cinnamon to your taste.
  7. Bake for 50– 60 minutes in preheated oven, until golden brown!
