
Hot Chicken Casserole
This is a Hot Chicken Casserole recipe that calls for water chestnuts.
I know most people probably don't keep those in their prepper pantries, but I keep them on hand for this recipe.
It's my kids' favorite chicken casserole.
I usually double it for the 6 of us to have a little leftover for lunch the next day.
Ingredients for Hot Chicken Casserole
- 2 c. diced cooked chicken
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 3/4 c. mayonnaise
- 1 can water chestnuts (undrained)
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
Directions for Hot Chicken Casserole
- Mix and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
- May be made ahead of time.
