Note: Lots of folks still do not know what lemon zest is or how to make it. The zest is the colorful outer layer of the citrus peel.
How to make it: Always scrub and clean your product well using soap and water. In this case, a lemon. Rinse and dry well.

I have read that these cakes can be frozen for 30 days and still taste like you just baked them! I have not tried this. If you have please leave us some feedback.

I pretty much like all lemon cakes but a lemon cake topped with this wonderful Lemon Buttercream Frosting is just gonna knock you out! Lemon on lemon, how much better can it get?

Of course, you can add as much or as little icing as you like to this dessert! The below image is with much less icing applied. We enjoy ours with heavy icing.
