Broccoli Salad Recipe

This Broccoli Salad is delicious! We love pretty much any kind of cold salads here including my mothers Cole Slaw. This makes such a wonderful side dish to compliment your meals. I will share that recipe later! Actually I have a lot of other recipes to share with you from my mothers recipe notebook. I just have to sneak her book out to get copies! 😉

Ingredients for: Broccoli Salad

1 head broccoli, chopped
1 head cauliflower, chopped
Chop 1/2 Cup red onion (Optional)
6 tbsp sunflower (Optional)
1/4 cup raisins (Optional)
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 pound bacon, fried and crumbled
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
(Some folks like sugar in theirs we don’t use it though.)

Directions for: Broccoli Salad

Mix Mayonnaise, Sour Cream, Salt, Bacon and Cheddar Cheese.
Cut Broccoli and Cauliflower and toss with the rest of the ingredients then mix well with the Mayonnaise and Sour Cream mix.
