Butterfinger Pie Recipe

This no bake Butterfinger Pie Recipe is easy and delicious! You can always use your leftover candy from Halloween for this Butterfinger recipe, or you can purchase one of those big bags of miniatures! What to do with the leftover bars? Well, refrigerate and snack on one or two after you have eaten your Butterfinger Pie! Even better, if there are enough in the bag, make two pies and share one with a family member or friend!

I remember when as a child we would get to accompany our parents to town. (That was a long time ago) These trips were not taken very often as they purchased what was needed to do for several weeks. From time to time we got to go along! We would always anticipate getting something sweet!

I still remember going into the stores with my parents and seeing all those wonderful candies and sweets! Our mouths would water at the thought of getting some of those tasty candy bars or cookies! A couple of my all time favorites was the Reese Cups and Snickers!

Later on I got introduced to the Butterfinger Candy Bar! This has become another candy bar that I truly enjoy! I like to put these in the refrigerator and let them get good and cold. after these peanutty candy bars have chilled, they are so crunchy as you eat them!

Did we mention there is No baking required for this delicious pie? No big mess or fussing around for baking as usual! Just pure delicious and delightful eating and fun to make! A great project for the kiddo’s to help with! Jump right in and get started on this Butterfinger Pie Recipe today!

Ingredients for: Butterfinger Pie

These are by far some of the easiest Pies made! The first Butterfinger Pie I made, I thought, my goodness, there has to be more to this than what I just did! Nope, it really is so easy! I find this is a very popular pie and makes a great dessert to take along as a guest dish!

This pie whipped together in on time flat!

Directions for: Butterfinger Pie

See NOTE below!

  1. Allow cream cheese to soften to room temperature. You can help speed this along by putting it in the microwave for about 15 seconds.
  2. Using your electric mixer, mix on medium high speed until the cream cheese is whipped. You will need to scrape the sides of the mixing bowl as you mix it.
  3. Next, add the cool whip and mix on medium high until creamy.
  4. Get your candy bars from the refrigerator, put them in a plastic baggie. Push all the air out you can and seal the bag.
  5. Set 3 of the mini bars aside, if you are using the standard size set one aside.
  6. Using a heavy object crush them up! I use a heavy flat bottom drinking glass and it does a wonderful job!
  7. Pour the crushed Butterfinger bars into the mix and using a stir spoon or mixer stir them into the mix.
  8. Pour the mix into your pie crust.
  9. Crush the last candy bar/s and sprinkle on the top to decorate!
  10. Refrigerate until chilled through and serve!

NOTE: Put your candy bars in the refrigerator a half hour or so ahead of time so they will chill!

Hint: If you need your pie quicker, you can put it in the freezer to hurry the chilling along!

Throw this together and put it in the refrigerator, let it chill and take it to your next gathering! We got a couple of the pie pans that are covered and can be carried by handles. There are several kinds out there to choose from. One of the more popular ones is the Lock & Lock 2-Piece Glass Pie Dish & Storage Set. These can be used to bake the pie in then after it is cooled, just attach the lid and it is ready to carry along!
