Chocolate Chess Cake is a great way to start off a beginner. This is an easy cake to put together and a very easy cake to bake. If you like chocolate as I do you will love this Chocolate Chess Cake. This cake requires a little more than just mixing a box of cake mix so the beginner can get a little satisfaction from making a cake from scratch almost. Next time you can mix your chocolate cake from scratch!




Ingredients for: Chocolate Chess Cake Recipe

Crust:

Directions for: Chocolate Chess Cake Recipe Crust

  1. Mix all three ingredients by hand until well blended. (This will be sticky)
  2. Place in greased 9 x 13 cake pan and spread evenly on bottom and up sides.(Don’t make the sides to greasy or the mix will not stay up)

Ingredients for Filling: Chocolate Chess Cake Recipe

  • 1 lb of powdered sugar
  • 1 8oz box of cream cheese (Room temperature)
  • 2 Eggs beaten
  • 1 Hersheys chocolate bar cooled and broken into small chips. (Can use regular semi-sweet chocolate chips also)

Directions for: Chocolate Chess Cake Recipe Filling

  1. Mix all ingredients except Hershey bar in a large bowl for 5 minutes
  2. Add Hershey bar chips and gently mix until chips are distributed well (Can use regular semi-sweet chocolate chips also)
  3. Pour into prepared crust and spread out evenly
  4. Bake in Pre-Heated 350° oven for 30 – 40 minutes!
  5. Let cool and serve.
