Ingredients for: Chicken Ala King

  • boneless chicken breasts – 3 is a good number. 🙂
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup – You can doubled this
  • 3 Tbs. flour
  • black pepper
  • 1 celery rib, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 1/ cup onion chopped
  • 10 oz package of frozen peas (just pop them in frozen)
  • 1 small jar pimentos, drained. You can use two if you like them a lot.

Directions for: Chicken Ala King

Put all the ingredients in the crock pot. Cook this on low for 6-8 hours or high 4-5 hours. But depending on your own pot and how soon you need to eat it can be adjusted. All pots seem to be different. Just be sure to check up near the time it is set for. Start out on high and adjust as needed if in a hurry!

After cooking, pull the chicken apart with a fork. Serve over rice. No rice was cooked for this meal, so you can just toast bread and served it over that.

We hope you enjoy your Chicken Ala King! Leave us a note if you do of if you have arecipe you would like to share.
