Easy Beef Goulash

     This is an easy version of Beef Goulash so it is simpler, faster and cheaper!

We enjoy simple and easy meals here. The easier and tastier they are the better we like them.

This Beef Goulash is no exception!

Ingredients for: Easy Beef Goulash Recipe

  • 8 oz. extra broad egg noodles
  • 1lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 3 carrots diagonally sliced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 green pepper, cut into 1″ pieces
  • 2 tbs paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4tsp pepper
  • 1 1/4 cups low sodium beef broth
  • 2 tbs tomato paste
  • 2 tbs all purpose flour

Directions for: Easy Beef Goulash Recipe

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions; drain and transfere to a serving plate.
  2. Heat skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. crumble in beef; stir in onion and garlic.
  4. Cook until beef is no longer pink, approx 5 minutes. Drain and discard fat.
  5. Stir in next 6 ingredients; cook stirring occasionally, 3 minutes.
  6. Stir in 1 cup broth and tomato paste.
  7. Cover; bring to a boil and reduce heat to medium-low; simmer until vegetables are tender, 5 minutes.
  8. Whisk Flour into remaining broth.
  9. Stir into beef mixture; cook until thickened, approx 1 minute.
  10. Pour over noodles.

Serve warm with sour cream, if desires. (Sour Cream is optional)
