Homemade Pecan Tarts

Pecan Tarts This recipe for Pecan Tarts is going to be so easy. Grab the kiddos and let them help! We all know when they jump in and help they always feed pride in knowing they have helped out! We love Pecan anything here at Back Roads Living and these wonderful and tasty tarts are going to be a keeper for sure!




Easy and delicious is just what we like. All homemade and of course you can use toasted pecans and make them even tastier. These are like delicious miniature “pecan pies”! Delicious and baked just right, these are going to melt in your mouth. So, lets get to baking!

This recipe makes 24 Pecan Tarts!

Ingredients for: Pecan Tarts

  • Crust: 3 oz Cream Cheese
    1 Cup FLour
    1 Stick butter

Directions for: Pecan Tarts Crust

  1. Mix all ingredients well
    Refrigerate Chill for 1 hour

Pecan Tarts

Filling for: Pecan Tarts

  • 1 Egg (We use farm fresh but store bought is ok)
    1 Tbsp Butter
    3/4 Cup Brown Sugar 1 Tsp Vanilla
    2/3 Cup Chopped Pecans (Blend well)

Directions for: Pecan Tarts

  1. Pinch off small piece of crust and put in tart pan
    Using your thumb cover the inside of the tart pan with the crust. Removing any excess.
    Fill the shells with mix
    Bake 25 minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven.

Serve warm and enjoy!
